Discovery Themes Talks featuring Infectious Disease

Plankton

Held on May 13, 2016, the first Discovery Talks program was the culmination of a month of TED-style training for 10 experts in infectious disease at Ohio State. Their final projects, 10-minute TED-style talks, were recorded and are available to view here.

Dr. Matthew Sullivan, Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology, was one of the featured speakers. His talk asks "How does understanding ocean viruses help save the earth and cure your ailments?" and is available here.

The Infectious Disease Discovery Theme program continues ongoing efforts to transform Ohio State into a world leader in infectious disease research, leading to new discoveries and real-world solutions that will improve the health of people and ecosystems across the globe.
